William Stafford, 4th Earl of Stafford (21 September 1375 – 6 April 1395) was an English noble in the fourteenth century. He was the third son of Hugh Stafford, 2nd Earl of Stafford (c. 1344 – 16 October 1386); Hugh's second son Thomas inherited the earldom in 1390. He died in 1392, still childless, and the title passed to William.

The monument is by Robert Chambers and is stained with the arms and badges of families connected with the Howards. The inscription reads:
On the death of the 4th Earl of Stafford the Earldom of Stafford became extinct as did also any rights to the attainted Viscountcy of Stafford, but the right to the Barony of Stafford (cr. 1640) passed, subject to the attainder of 1680, to the heirs general of the body of the 1st Baron Stafford. 8th to 11th Barons Stafford.
William Robert Byng, 9th Earl of Strafford (born 10 May 1964) is the son of the 8th Earl and his wife Jennifer Mary Denise May, daughter of William Morrison May. Styled as Viscount Enfield between 1984 and 2016, he was educated at Winchester College and the University of Durham .
