  1. John Stewart, 3rd Earl of Buchan (c. 1498 – c. 1551) was a Scottish nobleman. He was the son and heir of Alexander Stewart and succeeded to the Earldom in 1505, however, he retained the style of Master of Buchan until 1519, when he was formally recognised as heir.

  3. John Stewart, Earl of Buchan (c. 1381 – 17 August 1424) was a Scottish nobleman and soldier who fought alongside the Kingdom of France during the Hundred Years War. In 1419, he was sent to France by his father the Duke of Albany, Regent of Scotland , with a Scottish army of 6,000 men.
