Dr. Benjamin Rathery, an eternal bachelor, spends his time at his sister’s place, enjoying life. He is none too happy about the wedding plans made for him though. He is to be married with the daughter of Dr. Minxit, but he prefers courting Mariette, the cute bartender.
Overview. Benjamin is in love with Manette, the innkeeper's beautiful daughter, but she has no intention of giving in to the young doctor until she sees the marriage contract, and marriage does not fit in with Benjamin's spirit of independence.
