Dead Elvis is the debut album by British band Death in Vegas. It was released on 10 March 1997 in the United Kingdom and on 16 September 1997 in the United States. This was the only Death in Vegas album to feature original member Steve Hellier.
Roger Charlery (22 February 1963 – 26 March 2019), known professionally as Ranking Roger, was an English musician. He was a vocalist in the 1980s ska band the Beat (known in North America as the English Beat) and later new wave band General Public. He subsequently was the frontman for a reformed Beat lineup.

Ranking Roger does a bang-up job with his vocals on Twist and Crawl, which is a darn good tune, and Fearless is truly a skilled DJ as is evidenced on tracks like the more laid-back Rocco and Rekkit.
Very varied album, but it also suffers from lack of direction. You get hip-hop instrumentals, drony material, danceable stuff with Rankin Roger on vocals and some other things as well.
