Laurence Michael Harvey Parsons, 6th Earl of Rosse, KBE (28 September 1906 – 5 July 1979) was an Anglo-Irish peer.

Laurence Michael Harvey Parsons, sexto conde de Rosse, KBE (28 de septiembre de 1906 - 5 de julio de 1979) fue un par irlandés. Era hijo de William Edward Parsons, quinto conde de Rosse , a quien sucedió en 1918, y de Frances Lois Lister-Kaye, hija de Sir Cecil Edmund Lister-Kaye, cuarto Bt. y Lady Beatrice Adeline Pelham-Clinton.
Anne Parsons, Countess of Rosse (née Messel, previously Armstrong-Jones; 8 February 1902 – 3 July 1992), was an English socialite and one of the founders of The Victorian Society. She was the mother of Antony Armstrong-Jones, 1st Earl of Snowdon and Brendan Parsons, 7th Earl of Rosse.
Laurence Michael Harvey Parsons, 6th Earl of Rosse, KBE (28 September 1906 – 5 July 1979) was an Irish peer. He was the son of William Edward Parsons, 5th Earl of Rosse, whom he succeeded in 1918, and Frances Lois Lister-Kaye, daughter of Sir Cecil Edmund Lister-Kaye, 4th Bt. and Lady Beatrice Adeline Pelham-Clinton.
The 6th Earl was also much involved in the creation of the National Trust in England after the war. 3rd Earl of Rosse. Sir William Parsons (1800 -67), 3rd Earl of Rosse of Birr Castle in Kings County (Offaly), built what was for some 70 years the largest telescope in the world. He served as a Member of Parliament from 1821-1834.
