Dan Kamin was born in New York City and grew up in Miami, Florida. After attending Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh Kamin began touring as a comic mime throughout the U.S. He is the author of "Charlie Chaplin's One-Man Show" (1984, 1991) and "The Comedy of Charlie Chaplin: Artistry in Motion" (2008, 2010).

DAN KAMIN is an internationally renowned movement artist and magician who trained Robert Downey, Jr. for his Oscar-nominated performance in Chaplin and created Johnny Depp’s comedy moves for Benny and Joon. He also played the wooden Indian that comes to life in the cult horror classic Creepshow 2.
