Su paso a la fama en Estados Unidos fue por su interpretación de la espía Nadia Santos en la serie de televisión Alias; logró también reconocimiento mundial interpretando a Carmen Denali en las partes 1 y 2 de The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.
