Josephine Ann Tewson (26 February 1931 – 18 August 2022) was an English actress, known for her roles in British television sitcoms and comedies. She portrayed Edna Hawkins ("Mrs H") on Shelley (1979–1982), Jane Travers in Clarence (1988), and Miss Lucinda Davenport in Last of the Summer Wine (2003–2010).

Tewson was best-known for her roles as Elizabeth Warden in Keeping Up Appearances and Miss Davenport in Last Of The Summer Wine. She died on Thursday night at Denville Hall, a retirement home for actors in Northwood, northeast London.
As the BBC reports, Tewson's agent announced Friday (August 19) that the veteran actress had passed away a day earlier at Denville Hall, a London retirement home for actors and other people who worked in the entertainment industry.
