Brian Stokes Mitchell (born October 31, 1957) is an American actor and singer. A powerful baritone, he has been one of the central leading men of the Broadway theater since the 1990s.
Dubbed “the last leading man” by The New York Times, Tony Award-winner Brian Stokes Mitchell has enjoyed a career that spans more than 40 years in Broadway, television, film, recordings and concert appearances with the country’s finest conductors and orchestras.
Brian Stokes Mitchell was born on 31 October 1957 in Seattle, Washington, USA. He is an actor and producer, known for The Prince of Egypt (1998), tick, tick... BOOM! (2021) and Ghost Dad (1990). He has been married to Allyson Tucker since 3 September 1994. They have one child.
