Franklin Dennis Jones was an American actor best known for his role as Earl "The Veteran" Bradford in the comedic reality television parody series The Joe Schmo Show.
Jones was born on March 26, 1944, in Danville, Illinois. Little else is known about his past, including the names of his parents, where he went to school, and why he wanted to become an actor. What is known is that Jones got his first on-screen role in 1992, when he was cast as a ring manager in the action drama film Gladiator. Jones got his first major role in 2002, when she was first cast as Earl "The Veteran" Bradford for 9 episodes of the comedic reality television parody series The Joe Schmo Show. Jones had also appeared in TV shows and movies such as Cold Case, Ghost Whisperer, Nebraska, The Atticus Institute, Nebraska, The Master, Trucker, Evan Almighty, Drive, The Unit, Who Wants to Be a Superhero?, Sleeper Cell, The West Wing, and Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior.
On February 15, 2015, in Austin, Texas, at 70 years of age, Jones passed away.
