Solomon (Shloyme) Mikhoels (Yiddish: שלמה מיכאעלס [also spelled שלוימע מיכאעלס during the Soviet era], Russian: Cоломон (Шлойме) Михоэлс, 16 March [O.S. 4 March] 1890 – 13 January 1948) was a Soviet actor and the artistic director of the Moscow State Jewish Theater.

Solomon Mikhoels was born on 16 March 1890 in Dvinsk, Russian Empire [now Daugavpils, Latvia]. He was an actor and producer, known for The Circus (1936), Jewish Luck (1925) and A Greater Promise (1936). He died on 19 January 1948 in Minsk, BSSR, USSR [now Belarus].
