Richard Crispin Armitage (Leicester, Leicestershire; 22 de agosto de 1971) es un actor de cine y televisión británico, conocido por haber interpretado a Guy de Gisborne en la serie Robin Hood, a John Porter en Strike Back y al enano Thorin en la trilogía basada en la novela El hobbit de J. Richard Crispin Armitage (/ ˈ ɑːr m ə t ɪ dʒ /; born 22 August 1971) is an English actor and author. He received recognition in the UK with his first leading role as John Thornton in the British television programme North & South (2004).
