Alan Armstrong (born 1946), known professionally as Alun Armstrong, is an English character actor. He grew up in County Durham in North East England, and first became interested in acting through Shakespeare productions at his grammar school.
31 de ago. de 2022 · Alun Armstrong depicted the character of Brian Lane, an old detective with a surprisingly good memory that earned him the nickname ‘Memory Lane.’ Brian’s also a strong AFC Wimbledon supporter. After playing this role since 2003, when New Tricks debuted, Armstrong quit after the ninth series.
