El barón Ignác Kolisch, también conocido como Ignacio de Kolisch o Kolisch Ignác báró (Bratislava, 6 de abril de 1837 - Viena, 30 de abril de 1889) fue un ajedrecista húngaro de ascendencia judía, considerado uno de los jugadores de ajedrez más fuertes de su época.

Kolisch est né dans une famille juive de Pressburg (Pozsony, Bratislava), empire d'Autriche. Il connut du succès à la fois dans les affaires et au jeu d'échecs. Ignatz Kolisch was born at Pressburg in the year 1837, and made his first appearance in Vienna Chess circles at the age of 19.
