Naomi Haile Girma (/ ˈ ɡ ər m ə / GER-mə; born June 14, 2000) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defender for San Diego Wave FC in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) and the United States national team. She was the No. 1 overall pick of the 2022 NWSL Draft.
