Barun Bicky Chakraborty (28 August 1943 – 26 August 2022) was an Indian-born Swedish businessman. He was the president and founder of Elite Hotels of Sweden and The Bishop's Arms. He was counted as one of the richest men in Scandinavia.

Elite Hotels was founded by Bicky Chakraborty, whose vision of restoring beautiful hotels to their former glory is carried on through his daughter and Elite Hotels owner Caroline Chakraborty. We also continue to create new hotel experiences with the goal of making them the city's natural meeting point and pride.

He came to Sweden from India as a 21-year-old and in parallel with his studies he saw a need to improve the housing situation for Stockholm's students.
