Hiroyuki Imaishi (今石洋之, Imaishi Hiroyuki?, nacido el 4 de octubre de 1971 en Tokio) es un animador y director de anime japonés. Desde 2011 es el director del estudio Trigger.
Hiroyuki Imaishi (今石 洋之, Imaishi Hiroyuki, born October 4, 1971) is a Japanese anime director, animator and co-founder of Studio Trigger. His style is marked by fast and frantic animation combined with elaborate storyboarding and punchy direction.
Imaishi, Hiroyuki. Joined Gainax after graduating in 1994. Worked as key animator in Evangelion. Received an individual award at the twelfth Animation Kobe Festival for Gurren Lagann, his debut as director of an anime series.
