Synopsis. The young Polish prince Stefano during a voyage is captured by the Tartars. With him travels Ursus, a very strong man, who is looking for his little son. During his imprisonnent, Stefano falls in love with Ila a Tartar princess.

Ursus (Joe Robinson) and a Polish hussar, played by Italian peplum genre regular Ettore Manni, are taken captive by the Tartars. Most of the film follows Manni's romance with a Tartar princess, played by Japanese-French actress Yoko Tani. Despite being the title character, Ursus himself is barely in this.
