Kreidler es un fabricante alemán de motocicletas y ciclomotores, con sede en Kornwestheim, entre Ludwigsburg y Stuttgart. La empresa fue fundada en 1903 como "Kreidlers Metall- und Drahtwerke" (Kreidlers factoría de metal y cable) por Anton Kreidler y empezó a construir motocicletas en 1951.
Aunque la marca alemana Kreidler tiene más de 120 años de historia, para muchos siempre será la gran rival de Derbi y Bultaco en los campeonatos del mundo de 50cc que se disputaron en la década de los '70 del pasado siglo.

Kreidler was a German manufacturer of bicycles, mopeds and motorcycles. Kreidler was originally based in Kornwestheim, between Ludwigsburg and Stuttgart. It was founded in 1903 as "Kreidlers Metall- und Drahtwerke" (Kreidlers metal and wire factory) by Anton Kreidler and started to build motorcycles in 1951.
