Marc Ducret (born 19 August 1957) is a contemporary avant-garde jazz guitarist who frequently collaborates with saxophonist Tim Berne. [1] Ducret's guitar style is idiosyncratic, having been called "highly original and very expressive," [2] but also " Metheny -like."
All music composed by Marc Ducret. First played on site between July 2020 & June 2021. Recorded, mixed and mastered by Antonin Rayon at Studio Ouanne, in October 2022.

12 de dic. de 2023 · Guitarist Marc Ducret offers up some-place based music in this quartet recording, Ici, which means “here.” In the notes, he points out that it was recorded during the lockdowns. He thought “since it [was] currently impossible to play THERE, let’s make some music HERE.”
