Howard Mason Gore (October 12, 1877 – June 20, 1947) was an American politician. He served as the 8th secretary of agriculture from 1924 to 1925 during the administration of President Calvin Coolidge. He served as the 17th governor of West Virginia from 1925 to 1929.

Howard Mason Gore was born on October 12, 1887, in Clarksburg, West Virginia. He received his BA from the West Virginia College of Agriculture. He served as an assistant in the Food Administration for West Virginia during World War I (1917-1919).

Howard Mason Gore (12 October 1877-20 June 1947) was the Republican Governor of West Virginia from 4 March 1925 to 4 March 1929 (succeeding Ephraim F. Morgan and preceding William G. Conley) and the United States Secretary of Agriculture from 22 November 1924 to 4 March 1925 (succeeding Henry Cantwell Wallace and preceding William Marion Jardine).

Elected governor in 1924. Howard Mason Gore was born on a Harrison County farm that had been in his mother's family since 1778. He was a graduate of Clarksburg High School and the West Virginia University College of Agriculture.
