Ralph Norman Angell Lane (Holbeach, 26 de diciembre de 1872-Croydon, 7 de octubre de 1967) fue un escritor y político británico. Fue uno de los seis hijos del matrimonio entre Thomas Angell Lane y Mary Brittain. Estudió en el Lycée de St. Omer y en la Universidad de Ginebra.

The Great Illusion is a book by Norman Angell, first published in the United Kingdom in 1909 under the title Europe's Optical Illusion and republished in 1910 and subsequently in various enlarged and revised editions under the title The Great Illusion.
