  1. William Drogo Montagu, 7th Duke of Manchester KP (15 [1] October 1823 – 22 [2] March 1890), known as Lord Kimbolton from 1823 to 1843 [3] and as Viscount Mandeville from 1843 to 1855, was a British peer and Conservative Member of Parliament .

  2. The 4th Earl of Manchester (c.1662-1722) was created Duke of Manchester in 1719. In 1863, following the death of his grandmother Lady Olivia Bernard Sparrow (see below), the 7th Duke (1823-90) inherited estates in County Armagh (Tanderagee, etc), Huntingdonshire (Brampton) and Cambridgeshire.

He served as Captain of the Yeomen of the Guard from 1905 to 1907 under Sir Henry Campbell-Bannerman .
