Kathleen Clarke (née Daly; Irish: Caitlín Bean Uí Chléirigh; 12 April 1878 – 29 September 1972) was a founder member of Cumann na mBan, a women's paramilitary organisation formed in Ireland in 1914, and one of very few privy to the plans of the Easter Rising in 1916.

30 de sept. de 2022 · A specially commissioned portrait of Dublin’s first female Lord Mayor, Kathleen Clarke, has been unveiled in the Council Chamber, on the 50th anniversary of her death. Artist Gareth Reid’s painting is the first portrait commissioned by Dublin City Council in over 100 years.
Kathleen Clarke was a political activist and wife of Tom Clarke, the first signatory of the Easter 1916 Proclamation. She knew and worked with many of the major figures in modern Irish history, like Eamon De Valera, Michael Collins, Padraig Pearse and James Connolly.
