Etta Place ( b. c. 1878, d. ?) was a companion of the American outlaws Robert LeRoy Parker, alias Butch Cassidy, and Harry Alonzo Longabaugh, alias Sundance Kid. The three were members of the outlaw gang known as Butch Cassidy's Wild Bunch. She was principally the companion of Longabaugh.

4 de oct. de 2018 · The enigmatic Etta, (Ethel) Place is one of the Old West’s most enthralling mysteries. We know from her photo she was a beautiful, intelligent looking woman. According to author Donna Ernst her name was Ethel. There’s almost nothing known about the real Etta.

15 de jul. de 2019 · When and where Etta Place lived out the remainder of her life once the key leaders of the Wild Bunch were no more will probably always be left to conjecture. Historical documents do show that Etta and Sundance were dedicated to one another and that she was undeniably the “Queen of the Wild Bunch.”
Etta Place – Hanging With the Sundance Kid. Etta Place was involved with the Sundance Kid and was a “member” of the Butch Cassidy’s Wild Bunch. Born in about 1878, nothing is known of Etta’s life before she met Harry Alonzo Longabaugh, better known as the Sundance Kid. In fact, even her real name is a mystery.
…Butch Cassidy and a girlfriend, Etta Place, and in 1901 drifted to New York City and then South America, where they set up ranching in Chubut province, Argentina. In 1906 he and Cassidy returned to outlawry, robbing banks, trains, and mining interests in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, and Peru.
