Gilbert Marshal, 4th Earl of Pembroke (c. 1194/1207 – 27 June 1241) was the third son of William Marshal, 1st Earl of Pembroke and Countess Isabel, the daughter of Richard son of Gilbert, earl of Striguil. He was a member of the Marshal family .

Gilbert acceded to the title of Earl of Pembroke on 11 June 1234, on the death of his elder brother Richard who had died childless.

I see someone has merged the identity of this Isabel to Isabel de Clare, Gilbert's mother, who was Countess of Pembroke in her own right, in a couple of places (wikitree for one). I don't see any descendants anywhere for her, either, unless someone has better sources. Unfortunately, it's hard enough to trace out legitimate lines in this era ...
