Henry de Percy, 1st Baron Percy of Alnwick (25 March 1273 – October 1314) was a medieval English magnate. He fought under King Edward I of England in Wales and Scotland and was granted extensive estates in Scotland, which were later retaken by the Scots under King Robert I of Scotland .

2 de oct. de 2020 · Henry Percy held the feudal barony of Topcliffe, and was born about 1235. He married Eleanor de Warenne on 8 September 1268 at York, Yorkshire, England. They had three sons, William, John, and Sir Henry. Henry Percy died on 29 August 1272.
The title Baron Percy has been created several times in the Peerage of England. The first, soon after 1066, a feudal barony rather than a barony by writ, which continued in parallel with the later baronies by writ, until the abolition of feudal tenure by the Tenures Abolition Act 1660. The second, created by writ in 1299, became extinct in 1517.
Henry, 10th Baron de Percy and 3rd Lord Percy of Alnwick (1320 – 1368). Had before he succeeded, Henry had taken part in the French wars, and had been at the Battle of Crecy in 1346, after which he returned in time to fight at Neville’s Cross in the same Year.
Henry Percy, 1st Baron Percy, took possession of Alnwick Castle in 1309 and quickly set about a major renovation. He transformed its military defences, creating a formidable fortress. He also added private rooms and lodgings, which are still in use today.
