Lady Henrietta Cavendish Holles, only daughter and heiress,, married on the 31st October, 1712, to Edward Harley, Earl of Oxford and Mortimer, F.R.S., D.C.L., and founder of the Harleian Library; he died at his house in Dover Street, on the 16 of June, 1741, and was buried in Westminster Abbey.
