The fresco painting known as The Meeting (L'Incontro) on the west wall of the Camera degli Sposi shows Ludovico in official dress meeting with his son Francesco Gonzaga, following his elevation to the rank of Cardinal in 1462. Also present is the Holy Roman Emperor Frederick III and Christian I of Denmark.
