El Conde Ignacy Potocki fue un noble, escritor y político polaco. Director del Consejo Permanente entre 1778 y 1782 y gobernador del Gran Ducado de Lituania hasta 1794, Ignacy pertenecía a la adinerada familia de los Potocki, siendo propietario de las tierras circundantes a la ciudad de Kurów.
