Mairi Angela Gougeon (née Evans; born 23 April 1985) is a Scottish politician who has served as Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs, Land Reform and Islands since 2021. A member of the Scottish National Party (SNP), she has been the Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) for Angus North and Mearns since 2016 .
Mairi represented COSLA at the Council of European Municipalities and Regions. She is a graduate of the University of Aberdeen. She was appointed Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs, Land Reform and Islands in March 2023. Read more about Mairi Gougeon on the Scottish Parliament website.

Mairi is the constituency MSP for Angus North and Mearns and Scottish Government Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs and Islands. Her political life started in 2007 when she was elected to Angus Council serving the people of Brechin and Edzell.
