Sir Rutherford Alcock (1809-Londres, 2 de noviembre de 1897) fue un diplomático y cónsul británico. Biografía. Era hijo de Thomas Alcock, que ejercía su profesión de médico en Ealing, cerca de Londres. Rutherford siguió los pasos de su padre y, en 1836, accedió como cirujano a la brigada marina que participó en las guerras carlistas.

阿礼国（Rutherford Alcock），又译阿利国，（1807～1897），英国人。 清道光 二十六年，接替 巴富尔 继任英国驻上海领事。 道光二十八年，又借口 青浦教案 ，胁迫上海道麟桂同意将英租界由八百三十亩扩展到二千八百二十亩。 此后，又曾勾结美、法两国迫使上海道签订关于上海海关协定，由美、英、法三国领事派员组成关税管理委员会，控制上海海关。 咸丰四年，策划成立工部局，扩大租界特权。 曾协助清政府镇压上海 小刀会起义 。 中文名. 阿礼国. 外文名.
