Sir William James Ingram, 1st Baronet (27 October 1847 – 18 December 1924) was a British journalist and Liberal politician who was managing director of The Illustrated London News and who sat in the House of Commons in three periods between 1878 and 1895.
The Ingram Baronetcy, The Bungalow, Westgate-on-Sea in the County of Kent and of Swineshead Abbey in the County of Lincoln, is a title in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom. It was created on 9 August 1893 for William Ingram. [3]

Sir William James Ingram, 1st Bt. was born on 27 October 1847. He is the son of Herbert Ingram and Ann Little.
He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England. He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Boston between 1874 and 1880. He was a practising barrister. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)
