al-Mustanṣir (born July 2, 1029, Egypt—died Jan. 10, 1094, Cairo) was the eighth Fāṭimid caliph. He inherited the rule of the most powerful Muslim state of the time, but, during his reign, which was the longest of any Muslim ruler, the Fāṭimid government suffered decisive and irrevocable setbacks.

Abū Tamīm Ma'ad al-Mustanṣir bi-llāh (árabe: أبو تميم معد المستنصر بالله) (5 de julio de 1029-10 de enero de 1094), nació en El Cairo el 16 de Yumada II del 420 A.H. y ocho meses después era declarado sucesor de su padre. Su nombre era Ma'd Abu Tamim, apellidado al-Mustansir billah (que implora la ayuda de Alá).
Al-Mustánsir II (en árabe: المستنصر بالله الثاني al-mustanṣir bi-llāh al-ṯānī) fue un miembro de la casa abasí investido como califa en El Cairo dominado por los mamelucos (1261) tras el saqueo de Bagdad por los mongoles en 1258 y el fin del Califato abasí instalado en esa ciudad.
