Gustav Landauer (7 April 1870 – 2 May 1919) was one of the leading theorists on anarchism in Germany at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. He was an advocate of social anarchism.
Traductor, filósofo y escritor alemán, Gustav Landauer nació en la ciudad de Karlsruhe el 7 de abril de 1870. Hijo de una familia judía burguesa estudió en su ciudad natal, para luego trasladarse a ciudades como Estrasburgo o Berlín para completar su formación en materias como Lengua Alemana o Historia del Arte.
