Sigvard Bernadotte (Sigvard Oskar Fredrik; Drottningholm, 7 de junio de 1907 - Estocolmo, 4 de febrero de 2002) fue un diseñador y príncipe sueco, duque de Uppland y conde de Wisborg. 4 de feb. de 2002 · Count Sigvard Bernadotte, 1907–2002. Sigvard Oscar Fredrik Bernadotte was born in June 1907 at Drottningholm Palace, and was the son of Gustaf (VI) Adolf and Margareta of Great Britain. He became an internationally recognised designer, illustrator and industrial designer.

Bernadotte fue el primer diseñador del grupo que adoptó formas geométricas en lugar de formas naturalistas, como puede observarse en su juego Bernadotte de objetos para el hogar, que fue creado en el año 1939. Diseñó también una coctelera volumétrica de metal y baquelita para un fabricante inglés.
Sigvard Bernadotte was one of the first in Sweden to coin the word industrial designer and over the years he created some of today's most loved everyday items. Most famous is the Virrvarr pattern that he designed for the so-called Perstorps table in 1958.
