Dorothea von Anhalt-Zerbst (25 September 1607, Zerbst – 26 September 1634, Hitzacker) was a member of the House of Askanier and a princess of Anhalt-Zerbst and Duchess of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel by marriage to Augustus the Younger .
Dorotea de Anhalt-Zerbst (en alemán: Dorothea von Anhalt-Zerbst) (Zerbst, 25 de septiembre de 1607-Hitzacker, 26 de septiembre de 1634) fue un miembro de la Casa de Ascania y princesa de Anhalt-Zerbst por nacimiento, y consorte de Augusto de Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel, el Joven, futuro príncipe de Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel.
Dorothea Maria was the sixth daughter of Joachim Ernest, Prince of Anhalt, but second-born daughter by his second wife Eleonore, daughter of Christoph, Duke of Württemberg. Life. In 1586, the twelve-year-old Dorothea Maria was chosen by her father as Abbess of Gernrode and Frose as the successor to her elder sister Agnes Hedwig.
