  7. 15 de nov. de 2022 · Michael Obrenović III (1823–68) succeeded in 1840 but was forced into exile two years later. Milos was reinstated in 1858 but died in 1860. Michael then resumed his rule, and proved an able and effective leader. He was assassinated in 1868, and his cousin, Milan Obrenović IV (1854–1901), began 30 years of unpopular rule.
