Ali bin Abdullah bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani KBE (Arabic: علي بن عبد الله بن جاسم بن محمد آل ثاني; 5 June 1895 – 31 August 1974) was the Emir of Qatar. Sheikh Ali is also known as the first Emir of Qatar to have migrated and traveled abroad, visiting India, Egypt, Europe, Lebanon and the Levant .
Sheikh Ali Bin Abdullah Al Thani is the fourth Ruler of the State of Qatar. He was known by solemnity wisdom, forbearance, pursuance of a path of conciliation and consolidation of common word, the high moral character, high personal traits and noble qualities.
The House of Thani ( Arabic: آل ثاني, romanized : Āl Thānī) is the ruling family of Qatar, with origins tracing back to the Northern Arab Banu Tamim tribe. [2] Today Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and his mother Moza bint Nassir leads the house.
