Johann II of Nassau-Saarbrücken, aka Jean/John II/III, (1423 - 1472), Count and founder of the line Nassau-Saarbrücken. In 1444 he sold the Seigneurie of Commercy "Château-Bas" to Louis of Lorraine (fr) (1427 - 1445), marquis Pont-à-Mousson, son of King René of Anjou (1409 - 1480), who inherited the property from his son.
John II of Nassau-Saarbrücken (4 April 1423, in Saarbrücken – 15 July 1472, in Vehingen) was a son of Philipp I, Count of Nassau-Weilburg and Elisabeth of Lorraine-Vaudémont. He was Count of Nassau-Saarbrücken from 1429 to 1472. He married Johanna (1443–1469), a daughter of John IV of Loon.

In 1417, the County of Saarwerden branched off once more as the inheritance of his son, Johann. The House of Moers-Saarwerden died to the House of Nassau and County of Saarbrücken in 1527; through jure uxoris, Johann Ludwig of Nassau-Saarbrücken inherited the lands of his wife, Countess Katharina I.
