Franz Oppenheimer (Berlín, 30 de marzo de 1864 - Los Ángeles, 30 de septiembre de 1943) fue un sociólogo y economista político alemán, que publicó también en el ámbito de la sociología fundamental del Estado.

Franz Oppenheim (born 13 July 1852 in Charlottenburg; died 13 February 1929 in Cairo) was a German chemist and industrialist who mainly worked for the Agfa company (now Agfa-Gevaert). His father was German jurist Otto Georg Oppenheim and his mother was Margarethe Mendelssohn (1823–1890).
