Ferenc Krausz (Mór, Hungría, 17 de mayo de 1962) es un físico húngaro-austríaco y profesor universitario. Con su equipo de investigación, logró ser el primero en generar y medir un pulso de luz de menos de una femtosegundo de duración.

Físico húngaro-austriaco reconocido por su trabajo pionero en el campo de la óptica ultra-rápida y la física de attosegundos, lo que ha revolucionó la comprensión del comportamiento ultra-rápido de la materia en el nivel cuántico. El 3 de octubre de 2023 fue galardonado con el Premio Nobel de Física.
Ferenc Krausz (born 17 May 1962) is a Hungarian physicist working in attosecond science. He is a director at the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics and a professor of experimental physics at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich in Germany.
