2 de dic. de 2009 · This paper is dedicated to the memory of N. N. Bogolyubov in recognition of his towering stature in nonlinear mechanics and theoretical physics, his remarkable many-sided genius, and the originality and depth of his contribution to the world’s science.
Recall that Bogoliubov became a professor of Moscow State University in 1943 after returning from Ufa where the Ukrainian Academy was evacuated during the war. In this period he shared his time between the Institute of Mathematics in Kiev and the Department of Physics (Fizfak) in Moscow University.
