    Stanley Deser's research involves the study of quantum fields, gravitational theories and their generalizations.

    He is a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, National Academy of Sciences, a Foreign Member of The Royal Society and an honorary foreign member of the Torino Academy of Science. He is a recipient of the Einstein Medal and the Dannie Heineman Prize in Mathematical Physics.
