Chandramukhi Basu (1860 – 3 February 1944), a Bengali from Dehradun, which was located in the United Provinces of Agra and Oudh), was one of the first two female graduates of the British India. In 1882, along with Kadambini Ganguly, she passed the examination of the bachelor's degree in arts from University of Calcutta.
Kadambini Bose Ganguly (18 July 1861 – 3 October 1923 [1]) was a medical doctor in India. She and Anandibai Joshi both got their degree in Western medicine in 1886. However, She was India's first practicing lady doctor as Anandibai died soon after.

Ganguly’s achievements were particularly extraordinary for a woman back then.
