Andrew Eben Strominger (/ ˈ s t r ɑː m ɪ n dʒ ər /; born 1955) is an American theoretical physicist who is the director of Harvard's Center for the Fundamental Laws of Nature. He has made significant contributions to quantum gravity and string theory.
Strominger found a mathematically precise mathematical relation between the Navier-Stokes and Einstein equation 7, demonstrating that horizons evolve as incompressible fluids and providing a bridge between fluid dynamics and general relativity.
