    Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends was named the 85th best animated series by IGN and Nickelodeon, calling it very funny and endearing. Mike Pinsky, in a review on DVD Verdict, praised the art design and the characterizations, particularly singling out Cheese as possibly “the quintessence of Foster's surreal charm" in his season two review.

    After the credits roll in every episode, there is shown Cartoon Network Studios logo and it opens. It shows Mac then Bloojumps onto him like in the intro and the logo closes.
    Most of the episode has a pun on a real word, phrase or others. Some episode titles have no pun on anything.
