Jean Alexandre Joseph Falguière (French pronunciation: [ʒɑ̃ alɛksɑ̃dʁ ʒozɛf falɡjɛʁ]; also given as Jean-Joseph-Alexandre Falguière, or in short Alexandre Falguière) (7 September 1831 – 20 April 1900) was a French sculptor and painter.

Toulouse-born alexandre falguière found wide acceptance as a sculptor in Second Empire Paris, receiving numerous commissions for monuments to be erected in public buildings and squares.
Escultor y pintor francés (1827-1875). Estudió en la escuela de Bellas Artes donde ganó el premio de Roma de 1854. Su Ugolino le grangeó el apluso de la colonia francesa en Roma y a su regreso a París en 1862 se ganó el favor de la corte, recibiendo numerosos encargos para retratos de busto, también pintó bustos de gran formato.
