Mark Waid (/ w eɪ d /; born March 21, 1962) is an American comic book writer best known for his work on DC Comics titles The Flash, Kingdom Come and Superman: Birthright as well as his work on Captain America, Fantastic Four and Daredevil for Marvel.
Mark Waid has written for every major comic publisher, including DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Archie, Dark Horse, Image and Top Cow. His credits include JLA, 52, THE BRAVE & THE BOLD and LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES for DC Comics as well as X-Men and Fantastic Four for Marvel Comics.
