William Robert Spencer (9 January 1769 – 22/23 October 1834) was an English poet and wit from the Spencer family . Early life. Spencer was born in Kensington Palace on 9 January 1769. He was the younger son of Lord Charles Spencer and his wife Mary Beauclerk.
